How to Wear Lace? - LACE Fashion Trend 2011

Lace is very womanly and it never really goes out of fashion, as lace clothing can be found among chain- store clothing rails throughout the year. Lace will become a popular fashion, and featured in many clothing shopes. When it's not so popular, lace becomes a classic and still remains in the fashion market.

Lace clothing gives a chic look, and can look beautiful without exertion.`But there's a few risks in wearing lace clothing, for example you can look too Gothic.

How you should wear lace.
You should avoid wearing jewelery with lace, as this will probably look over the top. Wear it with minimum jewelery. If you choose wearing lace wear it with stud earrings, or a gold bangle. Pearls are not good with lace.

Go for fine lace, rather than large chunky patterns. On the subject of hems, another one to avoid is a jagged, uneven cut. Medieval like fashion looks very silly on most people!

Never wear white stockings, unless your going to a dress-up party! Black lace stockings are hot with skirts in winter, but don't ever wear them with a denim skirt. Denim skirt plus black lace stockings is running the risk of looking trailer-trash. Avoid bright coloured skirts too. Black stockings will always go best with a black skirt. If your wear black stockings with a black skirt, go for a different coloured top, to avoid looking Gothic.

Lace panels on clothing is a good alternative to full lace garments.

If a clothing item is made completely of lace, wear it down with simple clothing. Plain, bold colours are good, all colours go with black, but brown. It's not really a good look to wear lace with clothing that is patterned or printed.

Be careful about wearing denim with lace. A garment with minimal lace, and particularly white lace, goes great with denim. But don't take it any further, like wearing a top made of completely lace, with a pair of jeans. It's a sort of stereotypical look, that doesn't look that nice.

Women Legs Care - How to have Nice Legs

No doubt in India, the legs are often neglected because they are hidden under their pleats of a saree or behind the flair of a salwar or a pair of jeans. But when one wants to have a great body and become a beautiful woman- or for that matter a strong and powerful man- this neglected of the legs, which are the veritable vehicle of our body, is unpardonable.
Swimming or brisk walking are top experiences for youthful, long legs. A sedentary life causes the tiny veins around the ankles or the calves to swell up and make ugly blue makes of varicose veins on and otherwise smooth skin. Lake of exercise for legs makes the blood circulate poorly in these earth-bound limbs and blood flowing downward tends to get trapped in the veins. Only an energetic use of the legs dancing, jogging, doing aerobics or swimming balances the speedy circulation of blood and keeps legs well-toned in muscle and skin.

Yet another problem -which more women than men suffer from- is retention of fluid and the resultant swelling of calves or ankles. This happens particularly in pregnancy or when the kidney function is not perfect. Pre menstrual tension syndromes also cause water retention in the body. All these problems can be controlled by a balanced diet, a correct weight and regular exercise. Ramma Bans, the fitness expert who trained Lymaraina D'Souza and other beauty queens for years, gives useful beauty tips for maintaining beautiful legs and making them a proud asset for a woman. Follow the simple beauty tips to keep your skin beautiful smooth:-
Legs should be maintained with great fastidiousness. Dry skin, flaky surfaces and unwanted hair make them look unkempt and untidy. Every night, legs should be given a rub of a good skin cream. Once a fortnight or month - depending on hair growth - legs should be 'cleaned' by waxing off the hair or using any suitable depilatory process.
Tired feet should be often soaked in warm salty water and given a good scrub to remove hardened, dry skin on the ankles or between toes. Toe nails should be clean, well filed and not discolored. A good shade of nail-polish helps to accentuate the beauty of feet. A professional pedicure - which many consider a waste of money - is a must for feet beauty. Silver payals or toe rings are often worn in India to enhance the beauty of feet.
A brisk walk a day keeps the circulation going well and makes leg-stamina better and better. Some young people, including women, use small weights on the shoes to create an athletic look for the legs. While muscular, sports-oriented legs were made fashionable by supermodel Sushmita Sain, all women need not follow the same method.
Shoes must always be comfortable. High heeled shoes stilettos, walking or jogging shoes must be bought with comfort and activity in mind. On special occasions, when wearing a short skirt or during cold weather, sheer stockings may protect legs and lend them a glamorous look. Legs should be washed and scrubbed well without using very hot or very cold water. If you enjoy soaking your body in a pool of water, be sure not to lie in a tub of very cold or very hot water.
III fitting trousers, jeans or shoes harm legs. All clothes worn below the waist, including a belt, must be comfortable and supportive of activity.
Exposure to the sun must be controlled. Though tanning is fit popular in India, there is an increasing amount of beachside or poolside life of leisure. So a good anti-tan lotion, or cream or oil massage after a dose of sunlight is good.
Avoid bruises, ligament lesions, minor or major fractures and other kinds injuries by being careful while climbing stairs, bending, jogging a getting in and out of vehicles. The more the use of technology used in a home and in public life, the more hazards there are for the who are careless or falsely valiant.
Eat plenty of fresh salads, vegetables and fruits. These give energy and avoid cracked skins. If you have a water-retention problem, eat less salt.
Massage tired legs with a soft-textured, non greasy oil gently, in upwards movements. Keep legs looking great always by keeping your posture straight and correct. Then alone will your legs remain your most useful limbs and give you self reliance for all your life
Some of us are lucky enough to be born with a smooth and beautiful skin, but others can follow the above simple beauty tips to achieve a good skin and maintaining beautiful legs and making them a proud asset for a woman.

What is Relaxation Massages?

Relaxation massage is essentially the same as a gentle Swedish massage that uses smooth, gliding strokes. The primary purpose will be to help you relax, and the massage therapist will probably move at a slower pace and use light pressure.
During a relaxation massage there is less emphasis on working out serious adhesions or knots in the muscle tissue and the therapist won't push your pain limits in order to get the muscle to release. Sometimes people even fall asleep during a relaxation massage.

There are still substantial health benefits to a relaxation massage, including calming the nervous system, promoting a sense of well-being, improving blood circulation and stimulating the body's lymphatic system, which carries away waste products.

How to dress at work?

If your style is sexy more than stylish you might have some problems at work. Wearing a sexy outfit at work is seen as an inadequate behavior for any woman. For example women with leading positions are looked at as being less intelligent and competent. This perception is not valid when it comes to secretaries, for example. Women wearing clothes which show too much are looked at as using their sexuality in order to be promoted. Let’s see some suggestions in order to dress suitable at work.
Blouses should cover shoulders, the back and the abdomen. Avoid wearing transparent materials and stretched clothes.
Skirts can be a hand above the knee, not at all shorter. Skirts having the “A” shape and conic skirts are classic stylish options although you can also wear floral prints skirts.
When it comes to trousers, they must be simple, classic colors. Be careful how stretched and avoid those which show your lingerie.
Many banks interdict shoes which reveal foot nails. In this case, you should choose pumps or little hills shoes.
What is too sexy to wear at work?
Blouses which show too much skin such as those showing your abdomen or a decolletage are not suited for work. If you want to wear them anyway try using a jacket or a bolero.
You shouldn’t wear transparent or glossy clothes at work. Exposing your underwear is totally unsuitable. Short skirts, naked back dresses or stiletto shoes can’t be worn at work.

How to wear a Saree

Step1:
Here's an illustrated step-by-step guide that teaches you how to wear a Sari - India's national dress for females - one of the most elegant attires a woman can adorn...
Two essential parts of attire, that go along with the Sari, need to be chosen carefully to compliment the Sari. These are:

A petticoat which is a waist-to-floor garment, tied tightly at the waist by a drawstring. The petticoat color should match the base sari color as closely as possible. No part of the petticoat, of course, is visible outside the Sari, after having worn it.

A blouse which needs to be tight-fitting and whose color needs to be chosen keeping the look of the sari in mind, can be short sleeved or sleeveless, with a variety of necklines. The blouse ends just below the bust.

Step2:

Start wearing the sari by tucking its plain/upper end into the petticoat, at a position which is a little bit to the right of the navel. Make sure that the lower end of the sari should be touching the floor, and that the whole length of the sari comes on the left-hand side. Now wrap the sari around yourself once, with the sari now coming back in the front, on your right side.

Step3:

Make about 5 to 7 pleats of equal width of 5 inches, starting at the tucked-in end. Gather the pleats together, neatly, ensuring that the lower edge of the pleats are even and just off the ground and that the pleats fall straight and evenly. A safety pin may be used to stop the pleats from scattering.

Step4:

Neatly tuck the pleats into the petticoat, at the waist, slightly to the left of the navel, in such a manner that they open to your left.

Step5:

Drape the remaining fabric around yourself once more left to right, and bring it round your hips to the front, holding the top edge of the sari.

Step6:

Slightly raise the remaining portion of the Sari on your back, bringing it up under the right arm and over the left shoulder so that the end of the Sari falls to about the level of your knees.
The end portion thus draped, from the left shoulder onwards, is called the Pallav or the Pallu, and can be prevented from slipping off teh shoulder, by fastening it at the shoulder to the blouse with a small safety pin.

Different Ways of Wearing a Sari

Different regions of India have their own distinct forms of draping a Sari. Some of these are outlined below:
Gujarati way: This version of draping, ccommonly known as the seedha pallu way, is also found in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar. Instead of opening to the left, the pleats are tucked so that they open to the right. Then, the pallu is taken to the back and brought over the right shoulder. It is then spread across the chest, and the left edge is tucked in the petticoat at the back.

Maharashtra method: Instead of the usual five-and-a-half meters, the sari in this version measures eight meters. One portion of the sari is drawn up between the legs and tucked in behind at the waist, while another portion is draped as a pallu over the bosom. Thus it forms a kind of divided sari, allowing greater freedom of movement.

Tamilian version: Like the Maharashtra version, the sare in this version, too, measures eight meters. After wrapping around the waist, the pleats are positioned along the left leg. The rest of the sari is taken over the left shoulder, wrapped once again round the waist and tucked on the left side.

Bengali style: The sari is worn pleatless; it is wrapped around the waist, brought back to the right side and the pallu is thrown over the left shoulder. The pallu is then brought up under the right arm and once again cast over the left shoulder.

How to Color Your Eyebrows

Filling in your eyebrows: This post is for beginners as you should not attempt to dye your eye browns even with a brow tint unless professional performed or you have much experience. Not only can dying or bleaching brows at home be unsafe but appear fake if not colored right. My tip is easy and no commitment only temporarily so if you don't like it just wash off or use a makeup remover.

If, like me, you have eyebrows that are a bit too pale in color you can easily make them darker. This technique is used to enhance your eyes unless your going for a less natural look. When applying mascara or an eye makeup always make sure you have excess powder under your eyes. If you're using loose powder, expect to make a mess. It easier to clean up fallen eyeshadow or mascara mess. Groom your brows with a clean mascara brush or similar tool. Move loose hairs into place and blend color for a more natural appearance.

Tools you will need:
Eye brow tweezers or wax kit, brow brush, gel or clear mascara, mirror and liner.
First get your eyebrows into shape by plucking or waxing and brushing. Groom your brows with a clean mascara brush or makeup tool such as a brown brush. I find brown brushes work the best. You can find tools that have a brown brush on one end and a lash brush on the other side. This tool allows you to style your brows by moving loose hairs into place and blend color for a more natural appearance. Next, find a powder eyeshadow that matches your coloring and using a brow brush, gently run the color through your eyebrows.
Don't apply too much, just enough to darken the brows. Try not applying color too dark or too light. To keep all the hairs in place, spray a very small amount of hairspray onto the brow brush, using clear mascara or grooming gel such for hair or brow and sweep that gently through the brows. When coloring your eye brows with powder it is best to use a flat angled brow brush. Apply color by following the natural shape of the brow.
I normally use light brown as that is my natural coloring, but if you dye your hair match your brown as close as possible. At the time I first wrote this post my hair was a dark brown color, as that looks natural with my normal hair coloring. So you may need to experiment a bit to find the correct shade for your eyebrows.

I prefer going a shade darker on my brow and not lighter it does not define your eyes as much in my opinion but try experimenting. When applying color stroke brow with light, feathery strokes, focusing on adding color to thinner areas. Avoid marking brows with too much color you don't want painted on brows.

I have also used brown or eye liners as well as mascara. When using a eyebrow liner make use it is a sharp eyebrow pencil. Mascara? Yes mascara. Others may say "Don't ever use mascara on your eyebrows as it is too thick and will make a mess"!

It may be true for some but if you have fine hair on your browns and was coordinated you will have no problem applying mascara to brown. When apply using a mascara apply to the inner edges first, area closer to the nose, then move to the outer. Note if you wish you may switch this direction to what suits you best and is easier.

If brows are untamed first apply a clear mascara instead of hair spray. Allow the clear mascara to dry first before applying one to two coats. This way you avoid tinting your clear mascara or messing up you browns. Don't not apply to heavy just enough to color.

4. Next, use your eyebrow brush/eyelash comb to brush out any clumps from the mascara. Brown or eyelash brush can be purchased most anywhere including your local drugstore.

Finally you can use any color eyeshadow to match or complement your hair not your outfit because that's outdated. I would suggest trying a little contrast in your eyeshadow. Remember when apply dark color to brows to use a color that is in the same family of your complexion. Such as your skin tone, coloring of your eyes face and natural hair. Go no more than a shade darker if you are new to makeup applications. Remember always skin is in.
